Get Involved!

How you can help:

•    Join PTSA – help us make Lincoln an even better school for our students!

-  Make a donation - school budgets are tighter than ever.  We need your financial help to add para staff to our classrooms!  Also check to see if your employer will match your donation.

•    Volunteer!  PTSA offers numerous volunteer opportunities, and classroom teachers can always use volunteers as room parents, reading assistants, pet sitters, field trip chaperones, etc.
-  Attend PTSA General Meetings - get involved; stay informed -  Plus free babysitting…

•    Attend our events – get to know us and others in our Lincoln community

•    Check our website for calendar of events, volunteer opportunities, surveys, etc. – www.mylincolnptsa.org
•    Participate in "passive" fund-raisers:

    -  Save printer cartridges, old cell phones, and other electronic devices – Lincoln receives cash for school programs for these items.  Details: www.cartridgesforkids.com
    -  Clip and save pink “boxtops for education” from a variety of brand-name products (www.boxtops4education.com).  Be sure to register on the website for Lincoln Elementary School in Denver, CO, and peruse the “Marketplace” to  support our school through your online purchases (GAP, Old Navy, Pottery Barn, Harry & David’s, and many others)
•    Save the UPC’s from Pepperidge Farms Goldfish crackers and other products – see the full list at www. labelsforeducation.com.
•    If you are a Target shopper, register your card at www.target.com so our school receives a donation every time you make a purchase!
•    If you register at www.escrip.com, Lincoln can benefit from your purchases at various online retailers as well as at Safeway and Macy’s.
•    Let us know if you have new ideas for PTSA activities (in person or via the website)
