A RAW IDEA
When in doubt, think fruits and vegetables, like:

Zucchini or yellow squash strips Avocado chunks or slices

DIP IT!
Sometimes adding a dip helps with flavor and nutrition. How about:
Hummus and bean dips. Try a variety of flavors. Budget friendly hummus can be made from
dried mix found in bulk or boxes.
Nut butters (peanut, almond, hazelnut) are great on a variety of fruits
Salsa
Plain Yogurt, or stir up with cinnamon for fruit dipping or savory spices for vegetable dipping.
DIPPERS
Whole grain crackers or tortillas
vegetable sticks
fruit slices
GO NUTS and GET SEEDY
Walnuts, almonds, cashews, peanuts. Sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds.....
MIX IT UP AND HIT THE TRAIL (MIX)
Make your own to save $$....mix any nuts (walnuts, almonds, peanuts, cashews) with seeds
(sunflower, pumpkin) and dried fruit (raisins, mangoes, bananas, figs)
Or buy prepared trail mix or nutritional bars.
MAKE IT FUN!
Slice oranges in quarters and leave the peel on for those classic smiles
Spread nut butter on bananas or celery and add some raisins for "ants on a log"
Slice apples or pears and sprinkle cinnamon on for a treat
LOVELY LEFTOVERS
Did you steam a little too much broccoli or asparagus for dinner? Add some sliced bell pepper and
hummus for a healthy snack.
DON'T FORGET THE COW (or the chicken)
