Review Action Items
Fall fest review:
-People loved the petting zoo
-The sponsor booths were great
-Bounce house needs at least 2 volunteers for the bounce house obstacle course; it was very crazy
-Issues with facilities, poor communication, paid for services we didn’t receive
-Pumpkin sales with Lori went great
-Haunted House: we need a solid group of volunteers
-Think about whether we schedule fall fest on the same day as broadway halloween parade
-more notes here: 24-25 Event Reflections
Zoom Account:
-The username and password for ptsa don’t work
-We have a discount code if we want to renew but we don’t know who currently owns the account; Stacy will follow up with Anna J. (previous president) to see who set it up originally
-Go daddy: still connected to Scott Baldermann; that’s where we have the domain name that we bought for ptsa; doesn’t expire for another couple of years but we need to be aware of
CO Gives Day
-Lara and Allison met with Anna
-It has kicked off and it’s now through Dec 10th
-Last year we raised ~$10,909
-We have to raise the funds on the CO Gives Website, cannot use something else
-Amy, Allison, and Lara went to school and took some pictures of the school and started a video for the website to promote for CO Gives
-Lara: Hoping to sign up some businesses/PIE sponsors to encourage a “company match” to their donations
-Our goal will be about the same this year, $10,000
Teacher appreciation gifts:
-Spoke about ideas to make it personalized vs not
-Gift cards and a personalized treat or gift card and check
-Next step: Amy will sort through the likes list of staff to see if we can group gift categories- see what comes out; maybe enlist the teacher appreciation volunteers
