Lincoln’s Speaker Series invites members of the extended Lincoln community to learn from inspirational people throughout the year. For the 22-23 school year, we have chosen the theme: “Rebuilding relationships by honoring human dignity”. Thank you to the Circle Grant for sponsoring our Speaker Series this year.

This November, we're thrilled to welcome Britt Hawthorne, in partnership with Montessori on Wheels.

Britt Hawthorne is a momma, teacher, author, and anti-bias/antiracist facilitator. Britt partners with caregivers, educators, and families to raise the next generation of antiracist children. She is the author of the highly-anticipated, New York Times Bestseller, Raising Antiracist Children: A Practical Parenting Guide and most importantly, she's rooting for you.

About Montessori on Wheels

Montessori on Wheels is moving education liberation forward by co-creating Montessori-based learning environments within Black and Brown communities, ensuring that children and families can learn, play, and dream together. MoW is committed to empowering families as their child's first educator and to creating spaces that are culturally relevant for children of color to express their joy and creativity. They believe passionately in the power of stories to disrupt educational institutional norms, to redefine what school means, and to show that learning can and should happen anywhere, anytime. https://montessorionwheels.org/
