Candidate for Secretary: Liz Mogno

Hello! My name is Liz Mogno and I'm interested in fulfilling the role of secretary for the Lincoln PTSA.  I enjoy volunteering in a variety of ways and supporting my community and the public school community. My husband and I have an upcoming 1st grader at Lincoln and in her first year at the school. We were impressed by and really enjoyed the community involvement and welcoming spirit we found at Lincoln, much of which was attributed to the PTSA. I have enjoyed participating in volunteer opportunities at Lincoln thus far and would like to continue my support through the PTSA.

Our daughter Evelyn "Evie" is almost 6 and will be in Ms. Mariah Roe's primary Montessori classroom this year and she's excited to get back to Lincoln!  She was in Mrs. Smith's kindergarten class last year and loved her kindergarten year.

Professionally (in addition to my position of "Mom" of course), I'm an occupational therapist currently working in pediatrics in the home health setting. I have been in the field of OT for the past 11+ years with most of my work in the hospital setting doing neuro-rehab and acute care in the Denver area. I completed the end of my clinical training in Denver and, like so many others, really love this city and all that Colorado has to offer so I took a job here. I met my now husband Nick (one of those rare natives) shortly after, and never left. We have one other child, our son Max who is 3, and will hopefully be attending Lincoln for ECE 3 or 4.

As for my interests, I love exploring with my kids and watching them grow. I enjoy running, traveling, skiing, being in the mountains, live music, and time spent with family and friends.
